(a) In addition to the foregoing duties, the Zoning Inspector shall be the Keep America Beautiful Coordinator for the City and shall manage the day-to-day operations of the Keep America Beautiful system organization. Said duties include: assisting the Chairperson and preparing the necessary data required for program planning and implementing action plans; assisting with budget preparation and internal reports; and all other related activities necessary to carry out the functions of the Keep American Beautiful organization.
(b) (1) The Zoning Inspector shall also be responsible for promoting economic development in the City, including: assisting proposed or new businesses; maintaining and updating maps of water lines, sanitary sewer lines, storm drainage lines and other improvements for use by developers; obtaining grants and grant applications; and all other aspects of promoting new development in the City.
(2) The Zoning Inspector shall also attend meetings held by the Economic Development Committee of the City so that full information can be exchanged between the Planning Office and Council.
