(a) The City hereby adopts and order the Fire Chief to require that any new fire hydrants installed within the City shall have Toledo Threads at eight (8) threads per inch for the two and one-half (2 ½) inch openings and five (5) inch Stortz connections for large openings.
(b) The Fire Chief shall review any and all site plans, subdivision plans or any other type of plans which would require the installation of fire hydrants within the City. The Fire Chief shall immediately notify all jurisdictions and political subdivisions of the new standardized fire hydrant requirements.
