Where uncertainty exists as to the precise location of the boundaries of any of the aforesaid districts as shown on the Zoning Map, the following rules shall apply:
(a) Where a boundary line appears within a street or alley, the boundary line shall be deemed to be the centerline of the street or alley. Unless otherwise indicated, the boundaries of zoning districts shall be measured from the right-of-way line.
(b) Where a boundary line appears to follow a lot line, such lot line shall be deemed to be the boundary line.
(c) Where a boundary line appears to be adjoining a railroad, the boundary line shall be deemed to coincide with the boundary line of the railroad right-of-way.
(d) In the cases of parks and cemeteries, the boundary line shall be deemed to coincide with the boundary line of the park or cemetery.
(e) Where a street, alley, watercourse or other right-of-way has been vacated, the abutting zoning classification on each side thereof shall automatically be extended to the centerline of the vacated street, alley, watercourse or right-of- way. A boundary line is to be considered parallel to the nearest lot line along which it runs in cases where an intent to the contrary cannot be found.
