(a) The owner or contractor shall furnish satisfactory evidence as to the kind and quality of materials intended for use in the construction or reconstruction of walks or driveways, either separately or in combination.
(b) Such material shall be packaged and marked so as to permit identification.
(c) All material used on any work shall be subject to tests, for the purpose of ascertaining quality, strength, durability, etc., and for the purpose of ascertaining that the same meets the requirements of the specifications for the construction or reconstruction of walks and driveways as established by the Municipal Administrator.
(d) Walks shall be constructed of materials approved by the Municipal Administrator.
(e) Whenever the Municipal Administrator deems it necessary, bituminous material shall be placed adjacent to all telephone or power poles or other structures which are within the limits of a sidewalk. The materials workmanship and character of this construction shall be determined by the Municipal Administrator.
