1022.01 DEFINITIONS.
   As used in this chapter:
   (a)   "Construction" means the construction of new work where no work has previously been done.
   (b)   "Contractor" means any person or company licensed by the City to construct or reconstruct walks or driveways, and to perform other work permitted under this chapter, acting directly or through a duly authorized representative.
   (c)   "Curb opening" means that part of a curb which has been or is cut, dropped or replaced.
   (d)   "Driveway" means any driveway approach or runway between the curb line and private property line.
   (e)   "Driveway culvert" means any storm sewer conduit that crosses under a driveway with an open waterway on either side of the driveway.
   (f)   "Inspector" means the inspector designated by the Municipal Administrator.
   (g)   "Owner" means the owner, leaseholder or agent of thereof holding title to any private property adjoin any street in the City.
   (h)   "Reconstruction" means the relaying, rebuilding or repair of old work in part or in whole.
   (i)   "Right-of-way" means any public property dedicated for public use as a street, avenue, boulevard, lane, alley or public thoroughfare.
   (j)   "Walk" means any main or approach sidewalk, between the curb line and a private property line.
