1020.05 UNCURBED ROADWAYS; INGRESS AND EGRESS.
   Respecting all commercially zoned property within the Village that is bounded on one or more sides by uncurbed, paved public roadways, fixed points or areas of ingress to and egress from the property at the roadways shall be established by the owner, lessee or occupant and ingress to and egress from the property by any vehicles or trailers of a weight or dimension greater than private automobiles shall be restricted to such areas. Such areas shall be paved or adequately surfaced from a point not less than twenty feet within the property line to the point of intersection with the pavement of the public roadway in order to fortify and strengthen the edge of the pavement and the intervening berm and right of way sufficiently to deter the rapid breakdown or deterioration thereof and damage to any sewer lines or facilities located thereon. Such fixed areas of ingress and egress shall be plainly marked out and appropriate measures shall be undertaken by the owner, lessee or occupant to prevent ingress or egress at any other areas by vehicles.
The construction of all such ingress and egress areas shall be supervised by the Street Commissioner as to the suitability of the area selected, the dimension of the fortified access area and the nature of its construction, so as to carry out the purposes and intentions hereof.
