A. Issuance of Deeds: Upon full payment to the Village Clerk as provided in section 7-5-2, a deed shall be issued by the Village President and attested by the Village Clerk conveying the lot or grave. The deed provides for strict compliance with this chapter and any amendment to this chapter, as well as any other or future regulation pertaining to the management, supervision or upkeep of the grounds in the Utica Oak Hill Cemetery.
B. Transfer of Grave or Lot: No transfer of a grave or lot in the Utica Oak Hill Cemetery shall be made by any person therein named, or his heirs, devisees, or successors, to any other person. If any such person desires to sell a lot or grave, the Village will purchase the property for the current cost of the grave only, not including perpetual care. No private sales are allowed. A transfer or assignment of the beneficial ownership of a lot or grave may be made with the permission of the Village Clerk and payment of a transfer fee as provided in section 7-5-2F.
