(A) Prohibited. It shall be unlawful for any person to discharge or fire within the limits of the city any arrow or slingshot or similar device, or any BB gun, air gun, pellet gun or any other device of similar nature designed to discharge a projectile propelled by the expansion of gas.
(B) Exceptions. The provisions of this section shall not apply to:
(1) Activities under the direct supervision of a governmental or educational institution;
(2) Areas approved by the governing body; or
(3) A private enclosure within which the instrument is fired, discharged or operated in the private enclosure in such a manner as to prevent the projectile from traversing in the space outside of the private enclosure.
(C) Penalty. Any person who violates this section shall be guilty of a misdemeanor and shall be punished as provided in § 130.999(A)(1).
