(A) Any person making application for a permit required by § 94.095 shall:
(1) File satisfactory proof with the Fire Chief that such person has been a resident of, or doing business in the city at least 6 months prior to the date of making the application;
(2) Pay to the City of North Platte the sum of $250, which sum shall be retained by the city as an occupation tax;
(3) File with the Fire Chief a written statement giving the location of the retail outlets;
(4) File with the Fire Chief all applications for permits by June 20 of the year for which the applicant wishes the permit to sell in June and July; and
(5) Provide to the Fire Chief the manner of storage for their fireworks and the location of the storage place.
(B) No person under the age of 21 years shall be granted a permit.
(C) A past record of violations may result in the denial of a permit. This determination is to be made by the Fire Chief or his or her designee.
(D) All fireworks stands must be provided with at least 1 fire extinguisher which is approved by the Fire Chief or his or her designee.
