§ 90.14 KILLING, INJURING OR POISONING DOMESTIC ANIMALS.
   (A)   Prohibited. It shall be unlawful to kill or to administer or cause to be administered poison of any sort to a domestic animal, or in any manner to injure, maim or destroy or in any manner attempt to injure, maim or destroy any domestic animal that is the property of another person, or to place any poison or poisoned food where the poison or poisoned food is accessible to a domestic animal; provided that this section shall not apply to an officer, including authorized personnel of the Health Department, acting within his or her power and duty.
   (B)   Penalty. Any person found to have violated this section shall be guilty of a misdemeanor and shall be punished as provided by § 90.99(A)(3).
