§ 90.99 PENALTY.
   (A)   For purposes of this chapter, violations are divided into 3 classifications, which are distinguished from 1 another by the following penalties which are authorized upon convictions.
      (1)   Classification I.
         (a)   First offense: $50.
         (b)   Second offense: $100.
         (c)   Third offense: $200.
         (d)   Fourth offense and all subsequent offenses: $300.
      (2)   Classification II.
         (a)   First offense: $50.
         (b)   Second offense: $100.
         (c)   Third offense and all subsequent offenses: $300.
      (3)   Classification III.
         (a)   Maximum: 3 months in jail, $500 fine or both.
         (b)   Minimum: $25 fine.

   (B)   Any person having been convicted of violating § 90.10 shall be fined in an amount not less than $25 and not more than $500. In addition, the person shall be responsible and held liable for any damage caused by a horse or other large domestic animal to the city’s park and property.
