§ 54.08 RECEPTACLES TO BE PROPERTY OF CITY.
All approved receptacles are the property of the city and shall remain placed with the property or charging unit to which they are assigned. The city may remove its approved receptacles from any charging unit upon termination of city electrical service. Upon notice to, and approval of, the Public Service Department, an unoccupied charging unit that has terminated city electrical service and is being readied for occupancy may retain city disposal service at the same rates as charged by the city for occupied charging units. If an approved receptacle is destroyed or damaged by the occupants of a charging unit, either by a negligent act or an intentional act, the charging unit shall be assessed the cost of replacing the approved receptacle as determined by the Public Service Director. The fee or cost shall be collected in the same manner as provided in § 54.03.
