By resolution, the Mayor and Council will set monthly fees per charging unit for sanitation service within the corporate limits, the fees to be assessed on the billings for city utility services, and collected in accordance with the terms thereof. Each charging unit shall receive 2 approved receptacles 1 for household waste and 1 for yard waste. Additional approved receptacles, in excess of the basic 2, may be obtained from the Public Service Department for an additional monthly fee and will be billed for in the same manner. Upon notice and approval of the Public Service Department, a charging unit may have the option of only retaining the approved receptacle for household waste at a reduced monthly fee assessed in the manner stated in this section.
