(A) At the approximate end of each month or quarter, or semiannually, the Manager shall make a computation of the sewer use surcharge for each property discharging high strength user’s waste, using the following formula:
SC = [Rp (Pi – Pn) + Rs (Si – Sn) + Rx (Xi – Xn)] x 8.34 x V
(B) Where:
(1) SC = Surcharge.
(2) Rp = Unit annual operation and maintenance costs for treatment of BOD, COD.
(3) Pi = BOD, COD in the industrial waste, ppm.
(4) Pn = BOD, COD in normal sewage, ppm.
(5) Rs = Unit annual operation and maintenance costs of treatment of suspended solids.
(6) Si = Suspended solids in the industrial waste, ppm.
(7) Sn = Suspended solids in normal sewage, ppm.
(8) Rx = Unit annual operation and maintenance costs for treatment of any additional substance in the high strength user’s wastes.
(9) Xi = Substance requiring additional treatment in the industrial waste, ppm.
(10) Xn = Substance requiring additional treatment in normal sewage, ppm 8.34 = lb./million gallon-mg/1.
