The Clerk, as defined in Section 109.02(a), shall be the records custodian for the records of the municipal bodies identified in this chapter, and further shall provide clerical support, in the manner and to the extent as directed by his or her appointing authority, for the preparation of the minutes of the meetings of such municipal bodies.
