Any person may allege that a violation of Section 1901.07 has occurred, or that a violation will occur and cause injury, by filing with the Fair Housing Review Board, within one year of the alleged violation, a written complaint setting forth his or her grievance. The complaint shall state, on a printed form made available by the Board, the name and address of the complainant, the name and address of the person(s) alleged to have committed a violation of Section 1901.07 and the particular facts thereof, and such other information as may be required by the Board. A complaint may be amended at any time. Upon the filing of a complaint and the serving notice thereof to the complainant, a choice of forum provided in this chapter shall be determined by the complainant or respondent. The parties shall also be advised of the time limits imposed under Sections 1901.17, 1901.19, 1901.21, 1901.25, 1901.29, and 1901.31. (Ord. 98- 85. Passed 9-1-98.)
