(a) Posting of prices, as provided in Section 739.01, shall include the type and grade of the gasoline sold or offered for sale at retail, on the premises. Posting, within the meaning of Section 739.01, shall be deemed accomplished, within the meaning of this chapter, where there is at least one sign and not more than two signs (not to exceed four square feet) placed in a conspicuous place viewable from the street, provided that it is a permanent sign and not a temporary one. Such signs shall be of a permanent nature, constructed from a durable material, either wood, plastic or metal, and shall be clear, visible and legible to motorists traveling the streets and roadways immediately adjacent to the gasoline station. Such signs shall have numerals that are at least ten inches high.
(b) The requirement of posting signs specified in Section 739.01 shall in no way be considered to be in violation of the Zoning Code of the City where a gasoline service station has already used the maximum allowable sign area permitted by the Zoning Code.
