11-2-6: RECORDING PLATS:
   A.   No proposed plat of subdivision affecting land regulated by the provisions of this Title shall be presented to the Recorder of Deeds of Cook County, Illinois, for recordation unless the requirements of this Title and all other applicable City requirements are fulfilled. A certified copy of a resolution approving the plat or a certified copy of an order of the circuit court directing the recording as provided in the present §11-12-8 of the Illinois Municipal Code S.H.A. chapter 24 shall be sufficient evidence of compliance with this Section.
   B.   Upon receipt of the approval of the final plat of subdivision from the Plan Commission and City Council, the subdivider, builder or land developer shall file with the City Clerk the original tracing until all other provisions of this Title have been complied with, at which time, the Clerk will arrange for the affixing of signatures of the Mayor and chairman of the Plan Commission to the original tracing. The City Clerk will then record the plat with the Recorder of Deeds of Cook County and retain the tracing for the records of the City.
   C.   All of such subdivision plats then shall be copies upon a book of plats of the City and be filed and kept by the City. (1976 Code §25-4-7)
