ARREARS: Money which is overdue and unpaid; e.g., water bills or damage of property.
CITY: The City of Northlake, Cook County, Illinois.
CLAIMANT: An individual who has filed a claim under this Chapter.
MUNICIPAL PROPERTY TAX: The tax imposed and passed on to residents owning residential real property pursuant to the Constitution of Illinois 1970, article VII, section 6(a).
RESIDENTIAL PROPERTY: Condominiums and real property zoned as R-1 (Single-Family Residence Districts) and R-2 (Two-Family Residence Districts) pursuant to the City of Northlake's Official Zoning Map.
TAXABLE YEAR: The calendar year during which Municipal property taxes became due and payable by the owner of the residential real property. (Ord. O-37-94, 12-19-1994)
