The city shall not be liable for any defects in any operation of any alarm system, any failure or neglect of any person in connection with the installation and operation of equipment, any transmission of signals and messages or the relay of such signals and messages. In the event that the city finds it necessary to disconnect a defective device or otherwise, the city shall incur no liability for such action taken pursuant to the provisions of this chapter. (Ord.
