1-9-9: IMPERSONATING OR INTERFERING WITH CITY OFFICERS 1 :
No person shall falsely represent himself to be an officer of the City or shall, without being duly authorized, exercise or attempt to exercise any of the duties, functions or powers of a City officer or shall hinder, obstruct, resist or otherwise interfere with any City officer in the discharge of his official duties.
Persons convicted of impersonating or interfering with City officers shall be fined in an amount not to exceed five hundred dollars ($500.00) or imprisonment in a penal institution other than the penitentiary for a term not to exceed six (6) months. (Ord. O-23-79, 11-20-1979)
