339.12 LIABILITY OF OWNERS AND OPERATORS OF OIL/GAS DEVELOPMENT AND LOGGING VEHICLES FOR ROAD DAMAGE.
   (a)   Owners and operators of vehicles used for oil and/or gas development and logging operations within the Village, that cause damage to the roads of the Village, shall be liable for the costs of repairing said damage. (Ord. O-93-022. Passed 5-3-93.)
   (b)   All owners and operators of vehicles that are used in oil and/or gas development and logging operations within the Village shall, prior to said use, post a one hundred thousand dollar ($100,000) surety bond with the Clerk-Treasurer to insure that any damage to the roads of the Village caused by said operations shall be paid for by said owner or operator.
