135.10 REIMBURSEMENT FOR EXPENSES OF FALSE-ALARMS.
   (a)    The Village considers it to be the responsibility of the users of security systems to pay the cost of responding to an excessive number of false alarms.
   (b)    An excessive number of false alarms is considered to be whenever four or more false alarms are set off in any ninety consecutive day period.
   (c)    Users of security systems which cause an excessive number of false alarms shall reimburse the Village for its expenses in responding to such alarms as follows:
      (1)    For four to seven false alarms in any ninety consecutive day period, the user shall pay the Village a fee of ten dollars ($10.00) for each excessive false alarm.
      (2)    For eight or more false alarms in any ninety consecutive day period, the user shall pay the Village a fee of twenty-five dollars ($25.00) for each excessive false alarm. (Ord. O-89-016. Passed 4-3-89.)
