(a) Officers of the Police Department shall receive one and one-half times their regular compensation for time worked over eighty hours per fourteen day period. Upon authorization, in writing, by the Mayor, overtime shall be paid.

(b) No overtime shall be required of the Chief of Police unless it is related to State or Federal grant funds and paid therefrom.
