Guardrails shall be required where the Street Commissioner deems that the height of roadways or slopes, or physical obstructions, make guardrails a necessity. Guardrails shall be deep beam. The developer shall submit details to the Street Commissioner for approval. Bridge guardrails may be a deep beam type of a guardrail, built integrally with the bridge.
