Such licenses shall be issued subject to the following regulations:
(a) No organization, not located in the City, shall be granted a license.
(b) Licenses shall be requested in writing at least two weeks previous to the opening of the carnival. Each such request shall state the time, date, location and nature of the proposed carnival.
(c) Each applicant for a license shall agree to have special police on duty at the proposed carnival as ordered by the Safety Director.
(d) No more than one aerial or noise bomb shall be discharged in any one day and the time and location of discharge shall be approved by the Safety Director.
(e) The fee for such license shall be ten dollars ($10.00) for each day or part of a day that such carnival shall operate. However, an organization which operates a carnival upon premises, owned by such organization, may receive license without paying such fee, at the discretion of the Safety Director and Mayor, subject to all other provisions of this chapter.
(f) No more than one carnival shall be staged within the City in any calendar month. (Ord. 30-1981. Passed 7-6-81.)
