§ 119.02 APPLICATION FOR LICENSE; ISSUANCE.
Any person desiring a license to engage in an activity specified in § 119.01 shall file a written application, together with the fee and deposit prescribed in § 119.03, with the clerk-treasurer, listing the name and address of the applicant and that of each officer, partner, or business associate, and the nature of, and intended location of, the activity to be licensed. The clerk-treasurer shall forward the license application to the mayor for his review. If the mayor is satisfied that the location is suitable for the purpose of the intended activity, that it will safely accommodate the patrons, that the nature of the performance or exhibition will not be in violation of any law or ordinance, and that the use of the location will not throw too great a burden upon the police and fire department, he may authorize the clerk-treasurer to issue the license applied for.
