(A) The Board of Public Works and Safety, upon recommendation of the City Engineer or Police Chief may, by motion, establish temporary reduced speed limits within construction zones within the city.
(B) The Street Department upon consultation with the City Engineer shall conspicuously post signs informing the public of the reduced speeds within the construction zones.
(C) Any person who exceeds the posted speed limit within a construction zone, shall be guilty of a Class B infraction and may be fined up to $1,000.
