§ 151.05 CONSTRUCTION SURETIES.
   (A)   Construction of all public improvements to be dedicated to the city shall require sureties as set forth in Chapter 159 of this code and shall be required to be accepted by the Board of Public Works and Safety. In addition, the construction of sidewalks and private drive approaches shall also require sureties as set forth in Chapter 159 of this code and shall be required to be accepted by the Board of Public Works and Safety. Upon expiration of the posted maintenance sureties, sidewalks shall become the responsibility of the adjoining property owner.
   (B)   Sureties are required for the following infrastructure items, if being constructed: erosion control, sanitary sewer, storm sewer, curb underdrains, stone base, curbs, binder asphalt, surface asphalt, regulatory signs, NAT Trail, sidewalk, monumentation, street lights, and street trees. "Off-site" infrastructure items shall be itemized separately. A surety may combine items in any combination for any one development section. A single bond covering multiple sections will not be accepted. Other infrastructure items may be required on an as need basis as determined by the City Engineer.
