Upon every person engaging or continuing within this city in the business of operating a theater, opera house, moving picture show, vaudeville, amusement park, dance hall, skating rink, race track, radio broadcasting station or any other place at which amusements are offered to the public, the tax shall be equal to 0.4% of the gross income of the business; provided, that on and after July 1, 2015, the tax imposed by this section shall be 0.2% of the gross income of the business derived from engaging in this city in the business of operating any amusements offered to the public on and after said date.
