1313.01 BUILDING PERMIT REQUIRED.
   (a)   No wall, building or part thereof, costing more than two hundred fifty dollars ($250.00) shall be built, or no enlargement or alteration made to an existing wall, structure or building, costing more than two hundred fifty dollars ($250.00) shall be built, until duplicate plans showing the details of the proposed work, accompanied by duplicate specifications, covering material or materials to be used, have been submitted to and approved by the Building Inspector, and a permit issued for the proposed construction or alteration.
   (b)   One set of the approved plans and specifications shall be retained by the Building Inspector and the other set shall be kept at the building during its construction. No changes from the approved plans shall be made until revised plans and specifications have been submitted to and approved by the City Manager.
   (c)   A structure subject to these provisions hereafter erected without a permit, and not in conformity herewith shall be removed.

1313.02 PERMITS AND FEES; CONTRACTOR'S LICENSE. (REPEALED)
   EDITOR’S NOTE: Former Section 1313.02 was repealed by implication with the passage of the new Zoning Ordinance.
1313.03 WATER AND SEWER TAP APPLICATIONS.
   Persons applying for building permits shall at the same time make applications for water tap permit and sewer tap permit and pay established tap-in permit fees.

1313.99 PENALTY.
   Whoever violates any provision of this Part Thirteen - Building Code of these Codified Ordinances for which no other penalty is provided shall be fined not more than one hundred dollars ($100.00). A separate offense shall be deemed committed each day during or on which a violation occurs or continues.
