The purpose and intent of this chapter is to provide an approval procedure for the first two divisions of a 40-acre aliquot part or the division of a platted lot and the transfer of ownership to the individual parts thereof. This process shall be allowed where all required improvements are in place as specified in §§ 156.007 and 156.150 through 156.160 or no public improvements are proposed. To allow for staff review and approval of lot splits, lot line adjustments and the division of duplex ownership.
