§ 33.21 ADVISORY OPINIONS.
   When any town official has a doubt as to the applicability of any provision of this subchapter to a particular situation, or as to the definition of terms used in this subchapter, he or she may apply to the Town Attorney for an advisory opinion. The town official shall have the opportunity to present his or her interpretation of the facts at issue and of the applicability of provisions of this subchapter before such advisory opinion is made. Action in accordance with this advisory opinion shall be prima facie proof that the official has not violated the provisions of this subchapter.
