The Reserve Police Officer Division shall be a volunteer program and the reserve officers receive no compensation for their services; however, the Chief of Police and Town Manager may establish procedures whereby the reserve police officer may be compensated/reimbursed for his or her services or necessary expenses incurred during the performance of his or her duties when deemed appropriate.
