Members of the Planning Board may, after a public hearing, be removed by the Town Council for inefficiency, neglect of duty or malfeasance in office. Failure of any member to attend three successive regular meetings of the Planning Board, unless such absence is excused for cause by the Planning Board at the meeting at which the member is absent, shall cause the member’s seat on the Planning Board to become vacant.
