§ 90.99 PENALTY.
   Where there is a violation of any provision of this chapter, the town, at its discretion may take one or more of the following enforcement actions.
   (A)   A police officer may issue a citation subjecting the violator to a civil penalty of $50 which penalty may provide for a delinquency charge of $25 upon nonpayment after 20 days and which penalty and delinquency charge may be recovered by the town in a civil action. Each day shall constitute a separate violation.
   (B)   A misdemeanor warrant may be issued either immediately or upon the issuance of a citation and the violator’s failure to pay the citation. Misdemeanors shall be punishable by a fine of up to $500 and/or imprisonment for up to 30 days for each day a violation occurs or continues.
   (C)   A civil action seeking a penalty of $500 per day of violation plus injunction and order of abatement may be directed.
