In the transportation of any goods, materials or equipment across any sidewalk in the Municipality, sufficient temporary planking shall be used to protect such sidewalks from breakage. Such temporary planking shall be removed at the close of each working day and the surface of the sidewalk immediately cleaned and left in a passable condition.
The removal of red lanterns, barricades or other means placed on the streets and on construction projects, whether public or private, in the Municipality as a warning or protection for the public by persons unauthorized to remove the same, or the willful, careless or negligent destruction of such lanterns or barricades is hereby prohibited.
(a) No resident of the Village shall install a drainage pipe or system on his/her property without first obtaining a written permit to do so from the Village Administrator. The application for such permit shall be provided by the Village Administrator on forms adopted by the Administration and shall include all information which the Village Administrator deems appropriate including:
(1) Name and address of applicant;
(2) A drawing of where any drainage line or system is to be installed;
(3) A description of the type of material to be used in the drainage project and such further facts as the Village Administrator deems appropriate;
(4) A five dollar ($5.00) application fee.
(b) Upon receipt of the application for such permit and the payment of the five dollar ($5.00) application fee, the Administrator shall notify the applicant in writing of the approval or denial of said permit.
(c) Whoever violates any provision of this section shall be guilty of a misdemeanor of the third degree.
