(a) "City" means all area(s) contained within the established corporate/municipal boundaries of the City of New Martinsville.
(b) "Street" or "alley" means the entire width between boundary lines of every way publicly maintained when any part thereof is open to the use of the public for purposes of vehicular travel.
(c) "Recreational vehicle", as applicable to this ordinance, pertains to the following vehicle definitions:
(d) "Off-Road Motorcycle" means every motor vehicle, including motor-driven cycles having a saddle and handlebars for the use of the rider, and designed primarily for off-highway use, travel on off-road trails or capable of travel over unimproved terrain.
(e) "Moped" means every motorcycle or motor-driven cycle, unless otherwise specified, which is equipped with two or three wheels, foot pedals to permit muscular propulsion and an independent power source fueled by gasoline or electric.
(f) "All-Terrain Vehicle" (ATV) means any motor vehicle fifty-two inches or less in width, having an unladen weight of eight hundred pounds or less, traveling on 3 or 4 low-pressure tires, having a bucket seat or saddle for a single rider, and designed primarily for off-highway use, travel on off-road trails or capable of travel over unimproved terrain.
(g) "Utility Side-By-Side" (UTV) means any motor vehicle traveling on 3 or 4 low-pressure tires having a bench seat or bucket seats designed so the operator and passenger sit side-by-side and designed primarily for off-highway use, travel on off-road trails or capable of travel over unimproved terrain,
(h) "Snowmobile" means a self-propelled vehicle intended for travel primarily on snow and driven by a track or tracks in contact with the snow and steered by a ski or skis in contact with the snow.
(i) "Low-speed vehicle" means any motor vehicle whose speed (by design) does not exceed twenty-five miles per hour regardless of the power source being fueled by gasoline or electric. This includes, but is not limited to, golf carts, mini-trucks, scooters, go-carts, mini-bikes, micro-cycles, and converted or home-built vehicles similar in nature to the afore mentioned.
