The developer of any new subdivision, or parts thereof, shall install all water mains, fire hydrants, valves and fittings at his expense. Lines from main line to curb box, also designated as taps, will be installed by the Superintendent of Water upon payment of the applicable tap fees. Fire hydrants with watch valves must be approved by the Superintendent of Water. Only standard hydrants and valves used by the New London Water Department will be approved. All work performed shall be in accordance with State-approved plans and specifications approved by the Water Department. All lines after completion shall become the property of the Water Department.
