This district has been established to provide for areas of office and institutional uses in structures larger in scale than those intended for the OR-1 District. This district is best suited at locations along major thoroughfares. Because of the greater compatibility between office and institutional uses and residential uses, this district can be used as a buffer or transitional use between other more intense non-residential land uses and residential uses.
