For the protection of life, property, and public welfare there is hereby adopted as a part of the Fire Prevention Code of the municipality the 1979 edition of the Unified Fire Code, save and except the portions as are hereinafter added, modified, or deleted. The code, adopted by reference and made a part of this chapter, shall have the same force and effect as though set out in full herein.
