§ 5.   WATER CONNECTIONS.
   (A)   All water connections hereafter constructed or relayed from the water main to the meter box shall be of the following specified material:
      (1)   For the ordinary house service 1" Type K copper or plastic rated at 200 psi (per square inch) or higher pipe shall be used from the main to the cut off in the meter box, or pipe approved by the Village.
      (2)   For 1¼” and 1½” size the copper pipe between the main to the shut off in the meter box shall be of extra weight and from said shut off to the stop and waste in the basement or at meter, and the same shall be used or pipe approved by the Village and of proper size.
      (3)   All service pipes required larger than 1.5" size shall be type K copper or plastic (cts) rated at 200 psi from the main to the meter box.
      (4)   All so-called meter boxes installed or reset must be placed as near to the back of sidewalk and property line as feasible.
   (B)   All house service piping that cannot be reached without excavating shall be Type K copper or pipe approved by the Village.
