§ 34.02 SEPARATE IDENTITIES OF POLICE AND FIRE DEPARTMENTS AND SERVICE DEPARTMENT.
   The Departments of Police and Fire shall maintain separate identities as divisions of the Department of Public Safety. This section does not, however, prevent the cross utilization of personnel of these Departments for various activities when it is deemed to be in the best interest of the residents of this community.
