City Council gives its Mayor the authority to appoint the following positions upon each election of the Mayor, provided that the appointments are approved by Council for each position listed.
The appointed positions are as follows: City Solicitor, City Clerk, City Judge, Chief of Police, Building Inspector, Community Service Director, Committee Chairman, and Committee Co-Chairman for each committee.
To the extent that this section contradicts any other ordinance, those prior ordinances are hereby overruled, and this section is consistent with the City Charter.
