§ 154.130 ZONING OF ANNEXED TERRITORY.
   (A)   All territory hereinafter annexed to the city shall be automatically classified as “A” General Agriculture District, except as provided below.
   (B)   The Planning Commission may initiate a recommendation, or owners of land being annexed to the city may petition the City Council, for a zoning district classification other than the “A” District by following the procedures for applications and public hearings in this chapter. In this case, the Planning Commission and City Council shall hold hearings according to the procedures described in this chapter at the time an annexation ordinance is being considered.
