§ 72.09  BUS STOPS AND TAXI STANDS.
   (A)   Designation.  The Board of Public Works and Safety is hereby authorized  and  required to establish  bus stops and taxicab stands on such public streets in such places and in such number as shall be determined to be of the greatest benefit and convenience to the public, and every such bus stop and taxicab stand shall be designated by appropriate signs.

   (B)   Parking, standing restricted.  It shall be unlawful for the operator of any vehicle other than a bus to stand or park in an officially designated bus stop, or for any vehicle other than a taxicab to stand or park in an officially designated taxicab stand, except that the operator of any passenger vehicle may temporarily stop in any such stop or stand for the purpose of and while actually engaged in the loading or unloading of passengers.

   (C)   Use by busses and taxis.  It shall be unlawful for the operator of any bus or taxicab to stand or park upon any street in any business district at any place other than at a bus stop or taxicab stand respectively, except that this provision shall not prevent the operator of any such vehicle from temporarily stopping in accordance with other parking regulations at any place for the purpose of and while actually engaged in loading or unloading passengers.
