§ 91.28 INSPECTION AND SAFETY OF EXCAVATIONS.
   All excavations governed by this subchapter shall be inspected by the Town Council, the Town Engineer, or their designated representative. The excavation shall be protected by devices conforming to the requirements of the Indiana Manual on Uniform Traffic Control Devices. All excavations shall be backfilled at the end of each working day, such that they will not pose an attractive nuisance for children, nor in any way restrict vehicular or pedestrian traffic. The temporary backfilling and/or stockpiling of excavated materials shall not interfere with proper drainage of the street, alley, walk, or easement.
