§ 30.04 COMMUNITY AMBULANCE SERVICE.

   (B)   These rates will be reviewed periodically and may be revised by the 3 governmental entities and shall be subject to and in compliance with all rules, regulations, and limitations of federal and state law.
   (C)   The ambulance service may accept assignment of insurance carrier payments, including Medicare and Medicaid, for ambulance services for all or partial payment of the aforesaid charges. However, the acceptance of any coverages shall not relieve the user of the ultimate responsibility for the payment of the total amount of fees owed, provided that payments made to the ambulance service by Medicaid and Medicare authorities shall be subject to all existing rules, regulations and limitations of the federal and state law, and the counties shall not require any payment not authorized pursuant to the law.
   (D)   When the ambulance service is used by a bona fide residence of the Town of New Carlisle, Olive Township or Hudson Township, the resident shall be billed only to the extent of applicable insurance coverage, including federal and/or state health care programs. Any deductible or co-payment amount shall be waived for the bona fide residents of the Town of New Carlisle, Olive Township, or Hudson Township.
   (E)   When the ambulance service is used by an employee of a taxpaying business located in Olive Township, Hudson Township, or the Town of New Carlisle, who requires ambulance service while working on the taxpaying business premises located in Olive Township, Hudson Township, or the Town of New Carlisle, each employee shall be billed only to the extent of applicable insurance coverage, including federal and/or state health care programs. Any deductible or co-pay amount shall be waived for the employee.
   (F)   The ambulance service receives revenues from Olive Township, Hudson Township, or the Town of New Carlisle property tax and/or local income taxes, and the revenues shall be treated as payment for any otherwise applicable co-pay or deductible amount due from the bona fide resident or the employee.
