(A) A need now exists for the establishment of a Fire Protection Territory Equipment Replacement Fund for the Olive Township-New Carlisle Fire Protection Territory for all uses as set out in I.C. 36-8-19-8.5.
(B) The Town Board will adhere to the provisions of I.C. 36-8-19-8.5. The proposed fund will not exceed $0.0333 on each $100 of assessed valuation. This tax rate will be levied beginning with taxes due and payable in 2020 and thereafter, continuing until reduced or rescinded.
(C) This Fund is subject to the approval of the Department of Local Government Finance.
(D) Olive Township is the provider unit of the Olive Township Fire Protection Territory. The other participating unit is the Town of New Carlisle. As provider unit, Olive Township is authorized to establish this Fund. This section contains or incorporates by reference the contents of the agreement to establish the Fund.
