1365.06 HOME MAINTENANCE GRANT PROCEDURES.
   The administration of the Home Maintenance Grant Program shall be maintained by the Building Department. In order to qualify for a grant, an Eligible Person shall submit an application, in advance of the qualifying improvement being performed, along with proof of ownership or domicile, as applicable (e.g., tax bill, mortgage receipt) to the Building Department. The Building Commissioner shall be permitted to inspect the property before the qualifying improvements are performed. If the Eligible Person provides the labor for the project, the reimbursement will be for materials only. Reimbursement shall be by check issued by the Fiscal Officer to the Eligible Person directly upon presentation of proper documentation certifying the completion of the work and verification of the work by the Building Commissioner. The reimbursement shall constitute a grant to the Eligible Person for a portion of the project costs incurred, and shall not be repaid to the Village.
